During my work for Bar Mike in Ghent, I focused on creating visual content that captures the atmosphere and identity of the brand in a clear and aesthetic way.
Bar Mike is a modern gastrobar where food, drinks and design come together. The concept feels refined but still relaxed, and that balance was something I wanted to reflect in the visuals.
For this project, I created a series of images that combine food, drinks and small moments into one cohesive visual story. The focus was on detail: textures, colors, compositions and styling. By working with these elements, I aimed to create content that feels both natural and visually strong.
The visuals follow a clean and slightly editorial style, inspired by current trends but still aligned with the brand’s identity. Each image is part of a bigger whole, making sure everything feels consistent and recognizable.
What I found most interesting in this project is how important visual consistency is for a brand. It’s not just about individual images, but about how everything works together to create a strong identity.
This experience helped me further develop my skills in content creation, visual direction and understanding how branding translates into imagery.
